You will write a research paper. You may select the topic you would like to write about, but it needs to be related to marriage and the family. The paper must be at least 1250 words (5 pages), excluding the title page and reference page, and must adhere to the APA 6th edition writing format. If your paper does not comply with this format you will lose points. Recognized scholarly sources must be presented to support the student’s findings. You should use a minimum of three professional sources. All sources must be properly cited with reference page. The paper will be prepared in a manner acceptable for college-level work (i.e., neatly typed, double-spaced with proper citations as required with APA formatting).NOTE: You should limit the number of quotations to one for every 5 pages. This means you should paraphrase and cite your source.
