ACU Sampling Considerations Stratified Sampling & Sampling Method Discussion

Purpose of Assignment: When choosing a research method one of the important aspects is choosing a sampling method that is both relevant, realistic and appropriate for the design. The purpose of this assignment is to demonstrate how choosing the appropriate sampling method is important to the research study.

Instructions: Select the same type of sampling method that you will be using for the Final Project. Sampling types include Random, Systematic, Convenience, Cluster, and Stratified. Assume you are working with your academic advisor to select the appropriate sampling method for your research design. Your advisor is concerned about the type of sampling method you have chosen. In a 2-page format, include the following:

• An explanation of your choice of sampling method
• The pros and cons of the sampling method you have selected.
• Include 2 credible references (non-Wiki) that support your conclusions for the selected sampling method.
