Abcott Institute Qualitative or Quantitative Designs Analytical Review

Write a article review for each article. (For a total of 2 article reviews)

The review must be written using the APA guidelines appropriate for an article review. It should be written in third person for scientific writing. Don’t include personal opinions. Only report what you find in the research literature. Include the following information:

• What the study was about and the subjects used
• How the study was conducted
• How the data was collected
• Interpretation given by authors of the outcome

Answer these questions in your review:

• Did the article use a qualitative or quantitative research method?
• What were the findings from the literature review?
• What were the research questions?
• What were the hypotheses developed by the authors?
• How were the setting and the subjects selected?
• What methods did the researcher use for collecting data? Are these described in enough detail for you to understand them?
• What methods were used to analyze the data? For a qualitative study, this includes the coding system that was used.
• What were the results? Were they of any practical use and are the findings generalizable to other settings?
• What were the limitations discussed by the author? Did this impact the outcome of the study?

Each article review must be from one to two pages long (double-spaced), using a 12-point font. (You won’t need a bigger font to get the number of pages you need.)Include a citation of the article.

Remember that your paper will go through the Turnitin system and that you must go back and ensure that your Turnitin percentage is at or below 30%.
